OUR STORY
Caroline’s passion for small businesses began as a young girl.
The daughter of a small Convenience Shop owner, Caroline remembers spending evenings balancing accounts, reviewing inventory, AP & AR list to name a few.
As a young teenager, Caroline found herself on the shop floor lifting inventory boxes, arranging and displaying merchandize as well as calculating product margins, strategizing product placement to increase sales all while greeting and smiling at the customers who came in.
These experiences set the foundation for empathy towards small business owners who continuously sacrifice personal gain for the needs of the business, take tremendous risks, and employ hard-working individuals in the community.
With 14+ years of experience in Accounting & Finance managing billion-dollar portfolios for some of the most respected Fortune 500 companies globally, Caroline founded Topspin Finance to use her knowledge & expertise to help small businesses thrive and grow by offering Fractional CFO & Finance services that provide Canadian SMBs with on-demand access to senior financial expertise, systems, and decision support—without the cost or commitment of a full-time finance team.
